His other special areas of expertise include effective community policing, police recruitment, and police performance, including stress management. Educator He has taught criminal justice courses for almost 30 years and has been involved in ground-breaking off-campus criminal justice education programs for Wichita State University. The American Society of Public Administration names him "Outstanding Educator" in 1996. Today he is the Dean of Graduate Studies and Research at East Stroudsburg University and remains an active member of the John Harvard Society and Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences.
