Der Stoff wird verdeutlicht durch zahlreiche Beispiele und Falle, teilweise aus der Anwaltspraxis des Autors. Kontrollfragen und Musterlosungen sowie Musterklausuren erleichtern das Selbststudium. Die Neuauflage berucksichtigt den aktuellen Standder Rechtsprechung und Gesetzgebung. Weiter wurden Erfahrungen des Autors bei der Verwendung des Buches als vorlesungsbegleitendes Skriptum eingearbeitet."
