Synopsis

"The Mini Atlas of Diagnostic Endoscopy" is a compilation of endoscopic images of the upper gastrointestinal tract. The high-resolution digital image were captured live during routine endoscopy. Though more space has been devoted to common diseases like peptic ulcer, portal hypertension etc, rare conditions like Dieulafoy's disease, gastric antral vascular ectasia have also found equal prominence in the atlas. A brief introductory text, legends to the figures, relevant classification and staging of endoscopically relevant diseases are the other highlights of this atlas. Serial documentation of diseases and procedures like corrosive injury, variceal obliteration peptic ulcer, etc, not only provide a complete perspective but also make the contents more interesting and informative. The atlas will certainly prove to be a dependable companion and guide to those practicing endoscopy. This is one of the "Mini Atlas" series of titles published by Anshan, covering a comprehensive range of disciplines within medicine and health sciences.

The full series will develop into an outstanding resource for any medical library and each individual title will be a great value-for-money addition to a personal collection, or for use as a portable reference for work or home.
