THE PITCH Praise for Borne on the Carrying Stream 'The editor has not only done a fine job in pulling this volume together, but also ...his introduction is a model of what introductory chapters should be like. It provides signposts, leading each individual reader to the chapters likely to be of the greatest interest, but is also a scholarly and insightful overview.' Frank Bechhofer, Scottish Affairs 'a compendious Henderson primer' Jim Gilchrist, The Scotsman Praise for 'Tis Sixty Years Since 'A plethora of approaches befitting such a multi-faceted subject ...far too much to do it justice here: just read it!'
