Neil F. Payne is professor emeritus of wildlife, University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, where he taught full time and conducted research. Neil worked in Canada and the United States, including the University of Washington in Seattle, and the Newfoundland Wildlife Service. He grew up in Sheboygan Falls, Wisconsin, and obtained a B.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, M.S. from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, and Ph.D. from Utah State University. He was a captain in the U.S. Marine Corps and served in Vietnam. He spends his retirement in Plover, WI, Campbellton, Nfld. and Sanibel Island, FL. Neil is a certified Wildlife Biologist. He has received various awards and recognition's. He is listed in Contemporary Authors and The Writers Directory.
