Synopsis

This book is a comparative analysis of children of international migrants in Britain, France and Germany, using survey data from the EFFNATIS project. By analysing data on linguistic, structural, political, religious and socio-cultural behaviour, it offers exciting new evidence on sociological models of immigrant incorporation.

ROGER PENN is a Professor of Economic Sociology and Statistics and Director of the EFFNATIS project at Lancaster University, UK. He is author of Skilled Workers in the Class Structure; Class, Power and Technology; Social Change and Economic Life in Britain. PAUL LAMBERT is a Lecturer in Sociology, Department of Applied Social Science, University of Stirling, UK.
