Mediante un exhaustivo estudio de las Novelas ejemplares, el autor senala el sentido dialogico de estas historias en la creacion de una experiencia estetica colectiva como tema novelistico.

El autor: Francisco J. Sanchez es Licenciado en Filologia Hispanica por la Universidad Autonoma de Madrid y Doctor en Literaturas Hispanicas y Luso-Brasilenas por la Universidad de Minnesota. Ha publicado sobre diversos aspectos de la cultura y la literatura de los siglos XVI-XVII en Espana, el periodo colonial Hispanoamericano y Cervantes. Actualmente, es profesor asistente en la Universidad de Iowa.
