Kirstie Brown has been involved in youth work for over twenty years. Her experience includes running and developing youth clubs, promoting participation with and for young people, and staff development and training. She currently works for Somerset County Council where she works on participation, volunteer training and resource development. She has previously published Words to the Wise: Successful Peer Education with Young People with the National Youth Agency. Jeff Brown works for Somerset County Council and manages operational youth work delivery and the Duke of Edinburgh's Award. His background is in youth services management and he has a particular interest in health and safety, outdoor learning and community development.
