General Editor CHRISTOPHER PARTRIDGE is Senior Lecturer in Theology and Contemporary Religion at Chester College. He has published research in the areas of both contemporary Christian theology and also western alternative spiritualities. He is the editor of Lion's Encyclopedia of New Religions (2004) and has also written books on UFO religions, mystical experiences and fundamentalisms.
