Synopsis

The mountains and valleys of North East Wales offer a vast array of trails for the mountain biker. In the North, the Clwydian Range is already well known for its medley of fast single track with panoramic views of both England and Wales, whilst to the South, the high and remote mountains of the Berwyn Range are yet to be truly discovered and offer virgin territory for the adventurous mountain biker. The whole area is an explorer's paradise. With few marked or man-made trails, every outing provides a journey of discovery. Through some of the most amazing scenery, there are challenging climbs and fast flowing descents on technical singletrack and ancient thoroughfares that will get you grinning from ear to ear. And with this CD, the Bikefax team have done some of the work for you, finding some of the best singletrack riding in the area, equal in quality to the best riding elsewhere in the country. This title includes 24 inspirational routes ranging from Ruthin to Oswestry, including the Clwydian Hills, the Berwyn Mountains, Mynydd Hiraethog, Coed Llandegla and Lake Vyrnwy.

The CD includes high quality maps based on Ordnance Survey data and full route descriptions, as well as local information on where to eat, sleep and mend your bike. Download route waypoints and coordinates straight to a GPS unit with Tracklog, Mapsource or excel data files. You need never get lost again!
