Synopsis

Along with colour and silhouette, texture and dimension play a vital role in the interest of a design. 'Cables & Arans' is a one-stop reference for inspiration, brimming with 250 texture-friendly designs to delight knitters of all skill levels. An Oxo Ripple makes a dapper stitch for a man's scarf and a Medallion Ripple enhances any basic jumper. A Honeycomb Pattern is an excellent choice for a sumptuous and cosy afghan. All swatches are worked in updated yarns, beautifully photographed and accompanied by easy-to-follow instructions. 'Cables & Arans', along with 'Knit & Purl' and 'Lace & Eyelets', is one of the premier titles of this new series. 'The Harmony Guides' have been longstanding references for handcrafters for more than thirty years. C&B is proud to announce that internationally renowned best-selling author and knitting expert Erica Knight will be steering the series on its new journey. All titles will be fully revised and updated with eye-catching photography and innovative new stitches, but also never forgetting the heritage of the guides, these really will be the only reference titles on any knitter's bookshelves.
