Customer Reviews

This book is aimed at everyone, whether you think you can draw or not. The emphasis is on simplicity and fun...with a few strokes of your pen, you can create flowers, insects and animals. A big plus for this book is that it has everything you need to get started, not just the techniques, but a pen and paper, all neatly tucked in at the back. It is also a nice sized book to pop in your bag, so you can draw while out and about. It is spiral bound which helps to keep the book flat while you practice drawing. The instructions are easy to follow and includes pictures to show the direction in which to hold your pen to achieve the different strokes. The pen provided is fine to get started, but I would recommend using a 6mm Pilot Parallel pen if you, like me, have become a bit addicted to doing this little drawings. Andrew's calligraphy drawings are extremely cute and I dare anyone not to have a go!
