PD Dr.-Ing. Christoph Herrmann (geb. 1970) ist Leiter der Abteilung "Produkt- und Life-Cycle-Management" und seit 2005 im Institutsvorstand des Instituts f�r Werkzeugmaschinen und Fertigungstechnik (IWF) der Technischen Universit�t Braunschweig. Von 03/2005 bis 05/2008 war er zus�tzlich wissenschaftlicher Leiter des KERP Kompetenzzentrums, Wien (�sterreich). Seit 08/2009 ist er zudem wissenschaftlicher Gesch�ftsf�hrer und Vorstandsmitglied des Nieders�chsischen Forschungszentrums Fahrzeugtechnik (NFF) an der TU Braunschweig. Sein Forschungsgebiet umfasst Modelle, Methoden und Werkzeuge f�r ein ganzheitliches Life Cycle Management. Forschungsprojekte besch�ftigen sich u.a. mit Fragen des Life Cycle Design, der energie- und ressourceneffizienten Produktion sowie des Informations- und Prozessmanagements zum Schlie�en von Produkt- und Materialkreisl�ufen.
