Synopsis

Salidas por una comarca Vinalopo que es el eje vertebral de la provincia de Alicante dividido en tres sectores; Bajo, Medio y Alto Vinalopo, que toma su nombre del rio Vinalopo (su antiguo nombre es Alebus, es el nombre mas antiguo de Alicante, registrado 500 anos a. Cristo), significa agua que corre por el llano y no lobos como otros creen o Vialobos. Es un rio eminentemente alicantino, nace en sierra Moncabrer de Mariola, en Bocairente, y no desemboca, sino que se filtra en las salinas de Santa Pola. Es famoso en la historia porque se cuenta que aqui murio ahogado el general cartagines Amilcar Barca, en el asedio de Helike (Elche) al cruzar el rio Vinalopo, que ya son ganas de ahogarse, debian de ser otras epocas climaticas porque ahora es un rio desnutrido, una hebra de agua, un rabo de agua, incluso en otono, epoca de lluvias.
