For the first time, famed graphic novel publisher Nobrow will be bringing one of their unique exhibitions to Foyles. Hilda - the blue-haired, plucky creation of cult illustrator Luke Pearson - is about to set off on her latest adventure in Hilda and the Bird Parade, which sees the protagonist investigating the mystery of Trolberg's annual Great Bird Parade while nursing a mysterious talking raven back to health. A must for all graphic novel lovers, come along to our Charing Cross Road store and peruse never-before-seen art from the Hilda books, character profiles and concept sketches. Critically praised for its imagination and bold cartooning, the Hilda series has delighted readers around the world and has been likened to popular works such as Tove Jansson's Moomins and the films of Hayao Miyazaki. Venue: The Gallery at Foyles, Third Floor, Charing Cross Road. No need to book, just come along. Opening Hours: 5th - 17th October 2012 (Mon - Sat 9.30am - 5pm, Sunday 11.30am - 6pm) *Please note that the Gallery may be closed when instore meetings and events are taking place.
