Live A Little: Howard Jacobson in conversation

Wednesday 3rd July 2019 7pm - 8pm 107 Charing Cross Road Literary Event, Signing, Chargeable Event

*Due to unforeseen circumstances this event has been cancelled, we apologise for any inconvenience caused*

Join us for a very special evening with Man Booker Prize-winning author Howard Jacobson in conversation about his new novel Live A Little.

A tender and irreverent new book from one of the UK’s most intelligently comic authors, Live A Little tells the rare story of love in later years—showing how even into our nineties, we don’t stop looking for meaning, companionship and a way to heal the traumas of the past.

Jacobson will be speaking with arts journalist and broadcaster Tom Sutcliffe offering insights into the genesis of his new novel and why writing about an elder generation is crucial to shining a light not only on the past, but on our current era too. There will be a Q&A and a book signing following the event.

Tickets: £20.00 including a copy of Live A Little (RRP £18.99) / £8 standard / £5 Student or Foyalty member*. When purchasing a Student or Foyalty ticket, you'll need to bring a valid in-date Student card or Foyalty card with you.

Venue: Level 6, Foyles 107 Charing Cross Road
