Drawing on his perceptive new book McMindfulness, Purser will challenge continuing narratives about self-imposed stress. He will suggest that corporations, schools and governments have co-opted spiritual practices for social control, and will encourage us to look at the history of mindfulness in order to harness its true liberating potential.
