The New Statesman and Foyles present: The Booker Prize 2019 Winner in conversation

Thursday 17th October 2019 7pm - 8pm 107 Charing Cross Road Literary Event, Signing, Chargeable Event

Meet the winner of the Booker Prize 2019 three days after the announcement, as they read from their acclaimed novel and open up on the experience of winning the prize.

One of the most prestigious literary awards in the English-speaking world, the Booker Prize celebrates the best works of fiction written in English and published in the UK or Ireland.

This event is presented in partnership with New Statesman and will be chaired by Deputy Editor Tom Gatti.

The event will be followed by a Q&A with the audience, and a book signing.
 

Update: Due to scheduling conflicts, in the event that Margaret Atwood is announced winner of the 2019 Booker Prize, she will unfortunately no longer be able to attend this event. The event would then be cancelled with all tickets being refunded via Eventbrite. Should any of the other shortlisted authors win, the event will continue as planned.​


Tickets: £8 standard / £5 Student or Foyalty member*. When purchasing a Student or Foyalty ticket, you'll need to bring a valid in-date Student card or Foyalty card with you.
