Once Over presents Women and Playwrighting
Four of Britain's leading playwrights, Chloë Moss (This Wide Night), Sam Holcroft (While You Lie), Winsome Pinnock (Mules) and Rebecca Prichard (Yard Gal) will come together to discuss their perspectives on theatre as both women and contributors to the play anthology Charged (Clean Break, 2010). Joining them will be Lucy Morrison, the Head of Artistic Programme at Clean Break Theatre Company. Actors will perform an extract from Rebecca Prichard's Dream Pill. This event promises to be a varied and insightful look into the place/role of women in contemporary British theatre. Charged premiered as six short plays at Soho Theatre in Autumn 2010, and three plays will be revived as Re-Charged at Soho Theatre March 23-April 9 2011. Attendees of this event will have access to a special Foyles reader discount on tickets for Re-Charged.
Venue: The Gallery of Foyles
Tickets: Free
