An evening with Tore Renberg

Wednesday 21st January 2015 7pm - 8pm 107 Charing Cross Road Literary Event, Chargeable Event

Already a star of the literary scene in his native Norway, award-winning author and screenwriter Tore Renberg comes to the UK to celebrate the publication of See You Tomorrow, his first novel to be translated into English. Set to become a big name in the world of translated literary fiction, Renberg's work comes celebrated by figures such as Jo Nesbø, Matt Haig and long-time friend (and band-mate, don't you know) Karl Ove Knausgaard.

This is an opportunity to hear the charismatic Renberg as he presents See You Tomorrow, a contemporary epic that matches Nordic noir with pop culture, the pace of a page-turner with a captivating ensemble of disparate characters. Hilarious and grotesque, gritty and romantic, this is a book to watch out for from an accomplished author at the start of a new chapter in his career.

This event will be chaired by journalist and critic Anita Sethi.

Please note: This event was originally advertised as featuring both Tore Renberg and Karl Ove Knausgaard. Due to unforeseen circumstances, however, Karl Ove Knausgaard is unfortunately no longer able to attend.
