Every astronomical discovery is the result of human wonder. Come feed your curiosity with an introduction to the night sky from two Royal Observatory astronomers, Tom Kerss and Radmila Topalovic.
Tom and Radmila are a wealth of knowledge when it comes to our place in the cosmos. Whether you’re a complete novice or an expert stargazer, they can offer tips and advice to help you understand and enjoy the beautiful wonders of the night sky.
With seasonal star charts, constellation charts and facts about our Solar System, their new book Stargazing is packed with useful information and guidance for both the Northern and Southern Hemispheres.
From using a telescope to reading celestial maps, Tom and Radmilla will cover the basics in their interactive presentation for aspiring astronomers and hobbyists alike.
Come, look to the skies and join us for what’s set to be an enlightening event.
Everyone who purchases a ticket for the event will go into the draw to win a family (2 adults, 2 children) trip to the Royal Observatory, Greenwich. The prize will be drawn at 7:00pm and will only go to a winner who is present at that time.
