The Unfolding Journey: A Lonely Planet Workshop
Journey down the mighty Amazon River with Lonely Planet Kids.
Author of the Lonely Planet Kids Unfolding Journeys series, Stewart Ross will be telling fascinating stories to inspire young explorers and writers whilst children have the opportunity to colour in and add detail to a giant floor map - making the Amazon come alive!
This workshop will take children on a journey down the mighty Amazon River. A giant map, packed with beautiful illustrations of life along the river, will be laid out on the floor. Stewart will be telling fascinating stories about the Amazon's tribal villages, bustling jungle cities and the incredible rainforest creatures to capture children's imaginations and inspire young adventurers and writers.
During the workshop, children will have the opportunity to colour in and add detail to the giant floor map - making the Amazon come alive! Guided by Stewart, they will be able to add their own stories and facts to the map.
This event is suitable for children aged 5-10 years.
