We are delighted to be hosting our first Foyles Literary Supper in association with A-Canteen with bestselling novelist, actress, TV presenter and vlogger, Giovanna Fletcher.
The evening celebrates Some Kind of Wonderful, Giovanna’s delightful new novel. It tells the story of Lizzie, who has been loved up with her boyfriend Ian since their first day in university. On a romantic escape in Dubai, just when Lizzy thinks that Ian is going to propose, Ian reveals he’s not sure if he even wants her anymore.
Lizzy is heartbroken. But through the tears, she realises this is her chance to seize the opportunities she missed as Ian's other half. But what does she want? Determined to discover who she is at heart, Lizzy sets out to rediscover the girl she was before - and in the meantime, have a little fun . . .
You’ll be welcomed with canapes and a glass of prosecco, before you sit down to enjoy a two course meal. After dessert Giovanna will then be in conversation with a chairperson and the evening will then end with a book signing.
