Thank heavens for independent publishers. The classics, the start-ups, the big ones, the small ones, the weird ones—it's often indies that provide the lifeblood of the industry, bringing innovative new voices, forms and formats to readers, shining a light on subjects big publishers haven’t picked up on.
As part of our instore indie promotion at Charing Cross Road, we’re getting indie pros Fitzcarraldo Editions in to set up shop in our front of store.
Come along to browse a selection of their brilliant list and ask questions—founding publisher Jacques Testard will be joining us and on hand to discuss what they do and what they have planned.
