Meet legendary Japanese Manga artist Keiko Takemiya as she talks to comics historian Paul Gravett in a rare and exclusive UK event in partnership with Japan Foundation.
A member of the seminal Year 24 Group of female authors that have revolutionized shojo manga, pioneer of the Boys’ Love genre and author of the iconic manga To Terra… (1977-80), Takemiya will track her extensive career, exploring her key works and reflecting on the development of the narrative art form in Japan.
This event will be followed by a Q&A and an opportunity for books to be signed—bring them along with you!
