Pre-order for despatch on publication.

Whether you're shooting your first roll of film or taking a passion further, this book will welcome you into the physical world of analogue photography.

Like vinyl before it, analogue photography was written off too soon by an industry hastening into a digital future. Now we are seeing a powerful resurgence, with iconic film stocks being manufactured again, hip new film cameras appearing on the street and even hardened tech enthusiasts adding a vintage camera to their collection. Discover where to look and what to check for to find the perfect analogue camera, how to get the look you want, how to develop your own images and how to take advantage of analogue's many benefits while still sharing your images digitally.

Chapters include:

- Film Culture

- Film Cameras (covering everything from disposables to the classic SLR) - Preparing to Shoot

- Shooting on Film

- Processing Film

- Hybrid techniques

Juho Leppanen has turned his passion for analogue photography into two successful businesses: Camera Rescue, which drives an international community to find, restore and use analogue cameras, and, which sells them. He's a popular figure at major trade shows such as Photokina, where his project to save 100,000 analogue cameras is gathering a global following. Camera Rescue began in Finland but it now has operations in Belgium, France, Germany, Spain, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, North America, Russia and Eastern Europe. Adam Juniper has had a longstanding interest in consumer technology, having written his first gear review for a magazine before he was old enough to drive. He's written and edited dozens of books, especially on photography, drones and now the arrival of the digital assistant.
