Synopsis

The 'Africa Development Indicators 2010' (ADI) CD-ROM edition offers a comprehensive database with year-by-year time series of most indicators going back to 1970. The database contains over 1,200 indicators of macroeconomic, sectoral, and social data for over 50 African countries and two regional country groups. It includes the most updated data and useful features. Results can be scaled, mapped, and charted, and the mapping function allows users to see the results in a map than can be resized and zoomed to the country level. These features plus data export options in standard formats such as Excel make 'Africa Development Indicators 2010' the most useful tool yet for researching development data on Africa. ADI 2010 data is through September 2009. The 'Africa Development Indicators 2010' CD-ROM is also included with the print edition, ISBN 9780821382028.
