This book is aimed at people marketing disruptive, high tech products, who want to move from risk-taking early adopters into the pragmatic mainstream. For them, it is an excellent book, with clear, actionable advice; and there are many useful insights for anyone interested in such markets. The book was last updated in 1998, so many of the examples are somewhat dated, and analysis of disruptive technology has become far more sophisticated. But the core marketing strategy expounded in the book is still very relevant today.
