Expert guidance on today's most powerful new investment tool Some investors take too much risk, others too little. It is the rare and enlightened investor who develops a long-term investment strategy aligned with his tolerance for risk. Enter RiskGrades(t), the yardstick by which individual investors can measure their investment risk. RiskGrades was developed by the world's leading risk measurement firm, the RiskMetrics Group, which provides technology at the core of the risk management process at over 5,000 banks, hedge funds, asset managers, insurance companies, brokerage houses, and corporations. RiskMetrics latest product, RiskGrades(t), makes this same technology available to millions of financial advisors and individual investors for the first time. RiskGrades(t) provides investors with easy-to-use tools for measuring the risk of financial assets and creating wealth. It identifies the level of risk in a portfolio and allows an investor to determine which stocks and bonds can be bought or sold to match an investor's risk with the investment returns he hopes to achieve.

RiskGrade Your Investments clearly explains the principles upon which RiskGrades(t) is based and provides careful, step-by-step instructions on how to be an intelligent and risk-wise investor. Ethan Berman (New York, NY) is CEO of the RiskMetrics Group and a former managing director at J.P. Morgan. In 1997, Business Week named him one of the new stars of global finance. Steve S. Kim (Tenafly, NJ) is Product Manager of Retail Services, at the RiskMetrics Group and an expert on the revolutionary risk measurement tools known as RiskGrades.
