Synopsis

Carrie and David Grant have an extraordinary story to tell: three of their four children are trans or non-binary, they are also gay or queer, all four are neurodivergent, and they are a mixed-race family, too. Carrie and David are passionate about using their own experiences to help others, while providing the reader with a deep dive into real life, frequently encountered situations and pertinent, applicable advice. This book contains life hacks for everyone trying to find a roadmap through the maze of raising children in the modern world.

Their openness and solutions-based approach will provide solace, guidance and inspiration for families everywhere and as familiar voices, they are the perfect people to take readers into unfamiliar territory.

A Very Modern Family will be a breakout book on the ever-expanding concept of family.
