Synopsis

Sing it and Say it is a series of highly flexible resources to aid musical performance in school. Each book has been carefully designed so that songs can be used individually, combined into three ten-minute musicals or linked together to create a thirty-minute show. All of the songs are easy to teach and easy to learn and are written in a variety of styles to aid progression and musical development. A host of witty characters are guaranteed to add a large helping of fun to music lessons and director's notes make suggestions for cross-curricular projects and the incorporation of drama, movement, percussion and sound effects. Sing it and Say it are ideal books for use in the classroom, assemblies, concerts or to complement class project work. This 'Sing It and Say It' episode introduces pupils to a number of interesting characters from ancient Rome. Leading to a jam packed day of shop-till-you-drop expeditions encounters with a slave girl and her family a sing along with Sesterce and her Monetary friends in the 'Jingle Jangle Gang' and finally an introduction to Julius Ceasar himself.
