Synopsis

Die Aufmerksamkeitsdefizit-Hyperaktivit�tsst�rung (ADHS) ist eine sehr h�ufige psychiatrische St�rung im Kindesalter, die derzeit prim�r neurobiologisch und genetisch erkl�rt wird. Der Autor liefert einerseits einen umfassenden �berblick zu Geschichte, Definition und Diagnose, �tiologie, Begleitst�rungen und Modellen, andererseits geht er erstmals der Frage nach, ob diese Erkrankung auch auf Basis systemischer und evolution�rer Hypothesen differenzierter analysiert und erkl�rt werden kann. Insbesondere geht er der Frage nach, ob innerhalb des breiten Spektrums von ADHS ein bestimmter Subtyp ein erh�htes Unfallrisiko aufweist. Neben den empirischen Ergebnissen k�nnen aus dieser Arbeit auch klinisch-sozialp�dagogische Konsequenzen gezogen werden. Durch ein ma�geschneidertes B�ndeln von f�rdernden und fordernden Komponenten - im Sinne eines ganzheitlichen Behandlungskonzepts - wird zuk�nftig der Sozialp�dagogik besonders in der Risikopr�vention eine gr��ere Bedeutung zukommen.
