Exploring the impact of lockdown on learning and teaching in UK schools. Supporting schools and teachers to build resilience and belonging.

Helping teachers and school leaders to take positive action to enhance recovery, this book summarises emergent research findings on the impact of lockdown and school closures for teachers, senior leaders and support staff working in schools. It offers practical support on the use of frameworks of resilience to promote the belonging, wellbeing and mental health of children in school, enabling active steps for recovery.

Each chapter includes reflections from headteachers, evidence-based recommendations and strategies with quick check lists to help staff focus on what is already in place and what else they can do.
