Dr KS Adeyemo is senior Lecturer in the Department of Education Management and Policy Studies, University of Pretoria, South Africa. He holds a PhD in Educational Management from the Cavite State University, Philippines, and did his postdoc at the University of Pretoria. He is a researcher of higher education with a particular focus on issues of quality assurance in higher education regionalisation in the Global South. His main area of research focuses on system dynamics of higher education with a particular interest in quality assurance. These two strands enable him to contribute to the field of higher education and issue of employment or skill gaps over the last 10 years. His most recent research project is aimed at attempting the complex systems of higher education using quantitative research designs to frame and discuss complex issues of quality in higher education and unemployment. His research focuses on what can be done to fully understand the role of higher education, and how lack of understanding may persist in creating communication barriers between private and public sectors and the unemployed. His research has been published in high impact international journals, books and in books chapters. He is also an Assistant Editor for Journal of International Students.
