Selon la definition classique, les modes sont les diverses manieres de concevoir et de presenter l'action. Cette definition large permet d'employer le terme de mode, ou de modalite, au moins dans deux acceptions differentes. D'une part, on entend par mode (modalite) un certain rapport de l'enonciateur avec l'etat de choses qu'il decrit, sa maniere de presenter cet etat de choses comme irreel, potentiel ou, encore, virtuel. Par ailleurs, c'est ce meme terme de mode, ou de modalite, qui est employe dans l'expression 'mode (ou modalite) d'action', qui designe l'angle sous lequel un proces est vu a une certaine etape de sa realisation (modalite d'action inchoative, progressive, resultative, etc.). En outre, le terme de mode (modalite) d'action est quelquefois employe pour parler des types de proces. Les articles reunis dans ce volume portent sur ces diverses manieres de concevoir et de presenter l'action, qu'elle soit exprimee par un verbe ou par une expression non verbale.

Le recueil s'adresse a tous les linguistes qui s'interessent a la modalite au sens classique du terme, a la modalite d'action et aux proprietes modales et temporelles des formes non verbales (noms, adjectifs, gerondif).

Returns Information

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase*, you may return it to us in its original condition with in 30 days of receiving your delivery or collection notification email for a refund.
