Synopsis

A devoted father. A loving husband. A murder suspect...

Pre-order now! The gripping new psychological thriller from the author of 2020's twistiest debut, One White Lie

When Janie and her husband, Max, decide to leave the city, they hope Kingston will be the perfect place to raise their baby daughter, Freya.

But after leaving the life she loved behind, Janie struggles to adapt to motherhood. She doesn't know what she'd do without Max by her side.

So when Janie wakes up one morning, and Max isn't there, she panics.

When the police arrive, she fears the worst. The reality, however, is worse than she had ever imagined.

A woman has been found dead. Max is missing. And he's a suspect for murder...
