Customer Reviews

Just what the doctor ordered - a bit of light hearted fun and romance! Bobbie Hannigan shares a cottage with her sister; there's nothing wrong with her life but she craves a bit of adventure. So when she stumbles upon the first boy she ever kissed - Ross Mason - putting a 'For Sale' sign on the local lighthouse owned by his uncle, she takes the plunge and buys it. Before very long, and armed with the help of some birthday drinks, Bobbie and Ross go into partnership intending to turn the run down lighthouse into a popular music venue. With the spark between them as strong as ever, it's not long before they are struggling to keep their relationship platonic and then a blast from the past upsets the equilibrium . . . What a great read! With the current pandemic continuing to disrupt daily lives, it refreshing to read about someone with a bit of get up and go. I loved the relationship between Bobbie and her sister, and the vibe with their mother was very entertaining! Beautifully drawn characters, an excellent story with plenty of ups, downs, tears and laughter kept me stuck to this one until the very last. Thoroughly enjoyable, as I have come to expect from this author and one guaranteed to brighten your day, earning 4.5 stars and my hearty recommendation.
