Customer Reviews

Well as the saying goes, all good things must come to an end, which is fitting for the Kat and Mouse series. What was meant to just be a trilogy turned into a five book series and although I could read about these characters forever, it is now the right time to let them go. (Cue chin quiver and watery eyes now!) Murder Unjoyful is a thrilling read that is beautifully written and will have you immediately hooked. There is never a dull moment and yes you will need to have the tissues on hand! Fraught with tension and suspense throughout, this has been masterfully plotted and narrated with plenty of twists and turns to keep you on your toes as well as jaw dropping moments! If you are familiar with Anita Waller’s work, you know she likes to shock and every character is fair game in the murder count. There were many times my heart was in my throat while reading this book and was racing so fast, waiting to see what she was going to do! I had to put the book down to calm myself quite a few times! I am now full on crying writing this review. This series and its characters right from the beginning got under my skin and I have come to really love them. I am thankful to Anita Waller for writing this amazing series and also making me a part of it, where my name was used for a character in Murder Unearthed. A dream come true. Kat and Mouse is such a unique series and Anita Waller has put her heart and soul into this. Giving the readers what they want with an extra two books, really was the perfect gift and this last instalment wraps it all up well. So for the last time, it was my absolute pleasure to read and review all the books in this amazing series, which I can not recommend highly enough! (Sniff)
