The Drowned Land (Hardback)

Pre-order for despatch on publication.

The seasons falter, the sea rises, and tide-by-tide the world shrinks. As the land is poisoned, so too are the minds of men. The young are pitted against the old. Tribe is pitted against tribe. Starvation and pestilence stalk the land. The old ways are abandoned, society collapses, chaos rules.

But worse is yet to come...

Tuuli is a Wildblood. At sixteen years old, her tribe believe she will someday save the island from the devouring sea that has begun to swallow their homeland.

As an infant, Tuuli was found abandoned in the Glittering Caves with nothing but a single tooth on a necklace. Larger than a human hand, carved with intricate patterns, the tooth was taken a sign of her destiny as the saviour of Doggerland.

But there is another danger that will reach them before the sea does. When Tuuli and her friend Otso go whale hunting, they see a strange boat in the distance. Once that boat reaches Doggerland, the ancient island will be changed forever.
