The Essential Book of Gut Health Before, During and After Pregnancy (Paperback)

Pre-order for despatch on publication.

Your gut health has a massive impact on your baby's health. This book explains how to achieve excellent gut health to improve fertility and pregnancy, and give your baby the best start in life.

Did you know that drinking kefir, a fermented drink high in probiotics, can reduce your baby's chances of developing eczema by 40%? Or that having a leaky gut can cause pre-term births?

Shann Nix Jones is the pioneering gut health expert known for her award-winning goat's milk kefir, which is part of the Royal College of Obstetricians 'Mum Plus One' initiative and featured in Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's authorised book Our Royal Baby. New research has shown that drinking kefir and improving your gut health with probiotics reduces your baby's chances of developing allergies, obesity and auto-immune diseases later in life, supports fertility - for men and women - and improves the quality of breastmilk. In this book, Shann distils the essential information that every mother should know to ensure a healthy pregnancy, from conception to birth and beyond.

Shann Nix Jones is the author of Secrets from Chuckling Goat, The Good Skin Solution and The Kefir Solution. While struggling to cure her son's eczema and her husband's life-threatening MRSA infection, Shann discovered powerful natural healing remedies that solved her family's health problems. Shann is the creator of health-enhancing soaps, lotions and kefir drinks, and a cutting-edge, at-home microbiome test kit, which allows anyone to test their gut health and receive a customised dietary plan.
