Vain Glorious: A shameless guide for men who want to look their best (Paperback)

Pre-order for despatch on publication.

Leading lifestyle columnist and magazine editor Jeremy Langmead has grown accustomed to men turning to him with questions they wouldn't feel comfortable asking other blokes: Should they colour their eyebrows? Will Botox rid them of their permanent frowns? Is there really a machine that will help tone their stomachs? Can you wear grey sweatpants outside the house?

In Vain Glorious, Langmead also teams up with Harley Street cosmetic surgeon Dr David Jack to lift the lid on all the anti-ageing secrets that men want to know but have been too afraid to ask. From dermal fillers to hair transplants, they tell you how each treatment works, what to expect in recovery time, and how long they last.

Dr Jack provides the medical expertise, whilst Jeremy test-drives the treatments, sharing hilarious snapshots of his own hit-and-miss style and grooming journey.

This is a witty, candid, informative walk through the trends and insecurities that shape how men dress, look and see themselves - a book for all those who might once have been sceptical but who are waking up to the fact that it is no longer taboo to want to look and feel your best. An honest guide for men who want to ease themselves into the ageing process not bungee jump into it.
