Horsell has been supplying materials to printers and platemakers for over a century. This book provides an insight into the development of the company from its earliest days to the substantial international business it is today. Horsell has always been innovative in anticipating changing demand and new technology in one of the fastest expanding industries of this century. The book therefore puts the story in the context of the fundamental changes that have taken place in printing technology, espcially in offset litho. The growth of the Horsell operation in the last 10 years has been great. The company's investment in coil lines has turned it into a major international supplier of litho plates and associated products. It now has companies in most leading centres of print world-wide, competing successfully with the best in foreign competition. This achievement has twice won Horsell the Queen's Award for Export. The book may be of interest to anyone associated with printing, and is an object lesson in how to manage and grow a modern business. Roy Brewer is consultant on printing and communications.

He has written internationally for the trade press and was editor of "The British Printer" for some years.

Delivery is free for the UK. Western Europe costs £60 for each 12 month subscription package purchased. For the Rest of the World the cost is £100 for each package purchased. All delivery costs are charged in advance at time of purchase. For more information please visit the A Year of Books page.

Returns Information

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase*, you may return it to us in its original condition with in 30 days of receiving your delivery or collection notification email for a refund. Except for damaged items or delivery issues the cost of return postage is borne by the buyer. Your statutory rights are not affected.
