Customer Reviews

This should be a must read for every white person in the UK if not the world. Not an easy read even though the writing style makes it fairly easy to read. A contradiction I know, but what I mean is that it's not easy to being confronted by your own white privilege, which is what this book does. Really should be assigned reading at every school.

Staff Choice

A must read if you want to understand modern Britain - how it has been and is still being shaped. Racism and xenophobia are not new to Britain (its most recent expression was Brexit!) and in this astounding book Eddo-Lodge unveils the insidious structural racism problem in the UK. Compellingly argued and impeccably well researched - you will see Britain in a whole new light. This book changes everything.
