Covered under these are aspects of marine and non-marine insurance; the parties to the insurance contract, including involvement of third parties; the premium; the duration, alteration and control of risk; fraud; types of loss, as well as prevention, notice and proof thereof; the principle of indemnity; co-insurance, double insurance, over-insurance and under-insurance; the insurer's right of recourse; and the doctrine of abandonment.
