Prof. Surajit Pathak, Ph.D., is currently working as a Professor at Chettinad Academy of Research and Education, Kelambakkam, Chennai. He has received his Ph.D. in Zoology from India in 2007 and completed his Post-Doctoral training at the University of Alabama, USA, University of Padova, Italy, and University of Linkoping, Sweden. His current research focuses on inflammatory bowel disease, colon cancer, and biomarker discovery. He has published more than 90 research articles in peer-reviewed international journals of repute. He is the editorial board member of several renowned international high-impact journals. He is a member of various professional research bodies of India and abroad, including the Indian Association of Cancer Research, Indian Science Congress, and Aesthetic Multispecialty Society (AMS). Dr. Antara Banerjee is working as Associate Professor at Chettinad Academy of research and Education, Chennai. Previously, she completed her Ph.D. in 2008 and pursued her post-doctoral research at the University of Padova, Italy, till 2012. Later she joined as a Senior Research Associate at the University of Linkoping, Sweden, till 2015 and worked in collaboration with Karolinska Institute, Sweden. She has published over 70 high-impact peer-reviewed articles in International and National Journals. Her core expertise is stem cell biology, regenerative medicine, oncology, and alternative medicine. Her lab is interested in aspects of the tumor niche of stem cells in a cancer microenvironment. She is a member of various professional research bodies of India and abroad, including the Indian Association of Cancer Research, Indian Science Congress, and Aesthetic Multispecialty Society (AMS). Dr. Atil Bisgin works in Cukurova University Medical Genetics Department of Medical Faculty, Adana, Turkey. He had a medical education in Cukurova University Faculty of Medicine (graduate: 2002) then Medical Genetics training in Akdeniz University Faculty of Medicine (graduate: 2009). He had more than 80 published papers in internationally indexed journals (including NPG, Cell Press, Elsevier, BMC, Oxford University Press, and Wiley Journals). He has many research projects within 4 internationally ongoing ones supported by the European Commission, European Association for Cancer Research, European LIONS Cancer Fund, and the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TUEBITAK).
