Synopsis

Through the words of their owners, readers have come to learn about and love dogs like Marley and Oogy and Huck. But what if they could speak for themselves? What would they say? In "Letters from Angel", we hear Angel's story in her own words. Here is the story of the beautiful, loving Golden retriever 92-year-old author Martin Levin and his caretaker, Paula Drost, rescued from a shelter. Angel, who passed on in 2010, reflects back through a series of letters on her life and adventures with Levin and Drost, offering a heartfelt appreciation for their love and imparting some of the important lessons she learned along the way.
