A Rhythm of Prayer: A Collection of Meditations for Renewal (Hardback)

Pre-order for despatch on publication.

In A Rhythm of Prayer, Sarah Bessey seeks to recapture the spirit of the prayer circles she experienced growing up. Gatherings of women of all ages and backgrounds, in living rooms and church basements, came together to pray joyfully or with sorrow; in thanksgiving or in anger; loudly or in silence. Their prayers were as diverse as the individuals who spoke them, and none sounded like any script.

In her ministry, Sarah hears often from people who tell her they don't know how to pray, or have forgotten how. This book offers daily inspiration, with original contributions from Barbara Brown Taylor, Amena Brown, Nadia Bolz-Weber and other faith leaders. Bessey introduces each prayer as a way of sharing exactly why she loves and looks up to its writer. In the process, she offers spiritual nourishment, helping readers feel less alone in these difficult, isolating times.
