Altern ist ein sowohl biologischer als auch sozialer Prozess, der sich uber den gesamten Lebenslauf erstreckt und wesentlich durch gesellschaftliche Einflusse gepragt ist. Moeglicherweise beginnt der Alternsprozess bei Geburt und endet mit dem Tod eines Individuums - zumindest lasst sich dies heute in unserer Gesellschaft so denken. Zu anderen Zeitpunkten und in anderen gesellschaftlichen Zusammenhangen kann dies auch anders interpretiert werden, was bereits darauf verweist, dass auch die Thematisierung von Alter(n) und die Idee "des Alters" gesellschaftlich zu betrachten sind. Alter und Altern koennen also nicht allein als biologische Gegebenheiten oder psychische Prozesse verstanden werden, sondern umgekehrt: Diese unterschiedlichen Konzeptualisierungen etwa in der Biologie, der Psychologie sowie der Soziologie koennen als soziale Konstruktionen betrachtet werden.

Returns Information

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase*, you may return it to us in its original condition with in 30 days of receiving your delivery or collection notification email for a refund. Except for damaged items or delivery issues the cost of return postage is borne by the buyer. Your statutory rights are not affected.
