Accounting: A Systems Approach

It is very rare for any but the smallest organization to run its bookkeeping and accounting systems manually: almost all will use commercially available accounting software. So any accounting graduate who has experience of using one of these packages will have an advantage on the employment market. This book provides all the groundwork of a traditional introductory course in financial accounting, but uses a commercial integrated accounting package as a vehicle for teaching and understanding how systems work.
