A true account of the Villainous Bartholomew Rakehell, "Ne'er do Well" is a collection of three epic eighteenth century tales told in rhyming couplets. The third episode tells of the trials and tribulations of Timothy Tosspot who is cruelly tricked and pressganged in the drinking dens of Bristol. This book is bawdy, fast-paced and witty with a wonderful array of characters including Madams, Highwaymen, Pirates, Bare-knuckle Prizefighters and Quack doctors.
